One of my fondest childhood memories is the magic of the Christmas Fairies
In the lead-up to Christmas Day, I would wake excitedly each morning and rush downstairs to see if the fairies had been.
I was, of course, looking for the chocolate treats the fairies would leave hanging from our tree and sometimes hidden around the house.

Christmas
fairy facts
1. Fairies are timid creatures and can be easily unsettled by curious cats, dogs, or unfamiliar noises and smells.
2. They visit during the quiet hours of the night, when they are less likely to be seen.
3. Their visits typically occur between the 15th and 23rd of December—and always before Santa, of course!
4. Sugar enjoys leaving behind treats. These are often found hanging from the tree, but not always, so be sure to check everywhere.
